Rehoming Options

We always suggest doing extensive research BEFORE adopting a pet to make sure

  1. the breed is a perfect fit for your family


  2. you understand the breed


  3. you can meet the dog's needs


  4. you can make a lifetime commitment to the dog.

Sadly we hear all too often that dogs are being rehomed due to the addition of a new baby or owners are moving and can't take the dog.  Having a baby should not mean a possible death sentence for your pet.  For more info on introducing your pet to the new baby, please visit the Humane Society of the United States website.  Introducing your pet to the new baby will take some work but is always possible!  Remember, you made a commitment to your pet!
