Your dog or cat can be microchipped at any age.  We prefer 6 weeks but can be done sooner.

  3. Does the price include registration?

Yes, we register the chip for you.

  4. Where is the microchip implanted?

The chip is implanted between the pets shoulder blades.

Microchips are the safest way to insure the return of your pet in the event it is lost!

  6. How does the microchip work?

Once the chip is implanted, the chip number is registered.  If you pet is found, any shelter or vets office can scan the pet.  The chip number is displayed so staff can call the recovery service to obtain owner info.  **always keep registration info current!!!
